Contract | Days (5x8 Hours, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care within an Interventional Radiology/Special Procedures unit serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
- Manage an average daily census of 25 patients across 4 rooms
- Utilize Epic EMR, Pyxis, and SBAR communication frameworks in daily clinical operations
- Participate in rotating call schedule shared among the team
- Float within the facility as needed and within scope of practice
- Work rotating weekend shifts (every third weekend, no more than 2 per month) and required major holidays per assignment schedule
Required Qualifications
- Active Georgia RN license or Compact license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 1 year of IR/Special Procedures RN experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Demonstrated experience with Stroke Thrombectomy procedures (hard requirement)
- Proficiency in Epic EMR (hard requirement)
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an IR or Special Procedures setting
- Familiarity with Pyxis medication dispensing systems and SBAR communication protocols
