Description:
Candidates must have a minimum of one year of experience in Interventional Radiology.
First-time travelers are not accepted.
The patient population includes pediatrics to geriatrics.
The average daily census is 25, with a ratio of 4 rooms.
Floating may occur within the facility and scope of practice as needed.
Call requirements will be rotated among the team.
The candidate is expected to work one major holiday if it falls within the assignment period.
If there are two major holidays during the assignment period, the candidate must work both holidays.
If three major holidays fall during the assignment, the candidate is expected to work two of the holidays.
Compliance is required to ensure timely onboarding.
Clinical screens will be conducted to determine fit for the role.
Candidates must possess skills in Interventional Radiology and related procedures.
Proficiency in relevant charting systems is required.
Experience with various medical equipment and procedures is essential.
Candidates should have experience with patient management and emergency procedures.
A thorough understanding of infection prevention protocols is expected.
Knowledge of sedation monitoring and related processes is required.
Strong assessment skills in various clinical scenarios are necessary.
The ability to work effectively within interdisciplinary support teams is critical.
Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in scheduling requirements, including weekends and potential holiday coverage.
