    Job Title

    Travel RN – Progressive Care Unit (PCU / IMCU)

    Location

    Marquette, MI

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | 36 Hours Guaranteed Per Week | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care on a 24-bed Progressive Care / IMCU unit with a 1:3 nurse-to-patient ratio
    • Manage complex patient populations including post-open heart, heart failure, respiratory failure, trauma, surgical ICU, post-stroke with lytics, post-craniotomy, and septic shock
    • Operate and monitor advanced equipment including Baxter IV pumps, Omnicell, Prisma Flex CRRT, Impella, IABP, EVDs, bolt monitoring, ventilators, BiPAP, and high-flow oxygen
    • Document accurately using Cerner EHR
    • Participate in a float rotation shared among travel nurses as needed based on unit census
    • Adhere to facility dress code: galaxy, royal, or navy blue scrubs; no hoodies or open-toed shoes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience
    • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher required
    • Current BLS certification
    • Current ACLS certification
    • Current NIHSS certification
    • Must be willing to float within the unit on a rotation basis
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Background in CVICU or Neuro ICU settings
    • Experience with organ donation protocols
    • Experience managing pediatric DKA
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong collaborative skills
