Travel Nurse RN - Intermediate Care in Latrobe, PA

Registered Nurse – IMC/PCU/Stepdown (Tele/PCU)

Latrobe, PA | Progressive Care Unit

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | 3x12-Hour Shifts, Rotating Days and Nights | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Telemetry/PCU setting with a 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Float within scope to meet unit and facility needs as required
• Work every other weekend as part of the standard schedule
• Complete all required pre-start modules prior to entering the facility and adhere to onboarding compliance timelines

Required Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania or Multistate/Compact RN license required at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required (AHA certifications only accepted); must be current at submission
• Minimum 2 years of experience in Cardiac Telemetry and/or PCU
• Willingness to float within the hospital and potentially to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius
• Availability to work every other holiday
• Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with Cerner electronic health records
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Two supervisor references preferred
