Registered Nurse (RN) – Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3 x 12-hour shifts per week | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for patients requiring close monitoring as they transition from acute or critical care settings
- Manage post-surgical and medically complex patients, including those in transplant-related care
- Administer treatments and medications in accordance with established care plans
- Continuously evaluate and document patient conditions, responding to changes in clinical status
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Demonstrated experience in a PCU, intermediate care, or stepdown setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Commitment to patient-centered care and effective teamwork
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in transplant or post-surgical nursing care
- Familiarity with managing medically complex patient populations
- Experience working night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
