Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Pulmonary Thoracic Intermediate Care / Step Down – Georgia
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Georgia

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedule varies
Highlights:
- Intermediate care unit specializing in pulmonary and thoracic patient populations
- Diverse case mix including high-risk respiratory patients, cardiac thoracic surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, and head/neck surgery
- Patient acuity ranging from room air to BIPAP and Optiflow respiratory support
- Night shift position providing critical care in a fast-paced intermediate/step-down environment
- Holiday coverage required: 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Georgia or compact state license
- Minimum 2 years of recent experience in pulmonary, thoracic, or intermediate/step-down specialty
- AHA BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification preferred
