Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care for a mixed population of moderate to high acuity patients, including neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical cases. The assignment includes night shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week, starting on 10/05/2026 and ending on 02/20/2027. Prior travel experience is required, and the RN will participate in a charge responsibility with appropriate training and pay differential.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact License, 2 years of recent experience in an Intermediate Care Unit or similar setting, valid Nursys license, experience with Cerner preferred, and prior travel experience required.
• Preferred Qualifications: Charge experience is preferred.
• Additional Information:
  • The unit manages a varied patient population including neuro, cardiac, and medical-surgical cases, with acuity levels managed within the IMCU setting.
  • Orientation occurs every other Monday, unless otherwise posted.
  • Candidates must have at least 2 years of recent work experience in a similar setting.
  • All requested time off must be submitted with the application.
  • Limited RTO is available; the client may cancel up to 36 hours prior to each assignment due to census variations.
  • The RN will receive appropriate charge pay and training for this responsibility.
  • This position involves interaction with students and new hires, fostering a culture of support.
