Job Summary:
The healthcare provider is seeking a registered nurse specializing in Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) for a night shift assignment located at a hospital campus. The position involves working with a diverse patient population including medical-surgical, telemetry, cardiac, neuro, and cerebrovascular accident patients. The nurse will be responsible for charge activities and contribute to a supportive team environment, often interacting with students and new hires. Orientation occurs every other Monday, and the assignment offers opportunities for up to 20 weeks to support staffing needs during the holiday season.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Active VA or Compact license, two years of relevant experience, experience in charge duties, and familiarity with Cerner electronic records system.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience, charge responsibility experience.
• Additional Information: Nurse must have worked a minimum of two years and provide a work history explaining any gaps longer than 90 days. Skills checklist and a copy of nursing license must be submitted with application. All requested time off must be included at submission. The hospital accepts approved declinations for Covid and Flu vaccinations.
