Job Summary
Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU) Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in a fast-paced hospital environment. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to acutely ill adult patients, including those with complex medical conditions such as pulmonary hypertension, post-lung transplant, and other critical diagnoses. The RN will work part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, offering both general and IMC level care.

Job Details

  • Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Monday through Friday, with every other weekend and some holidays required.
  • Schedule: 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid WI RN license or compact RN license, minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience, Cardiac Telemetry, Ventilator and transplant experience, BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in an academic Level I or II trauma center, MS/Telemetry experience, and trauma nursing experience.
  • Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
  • Additional Information: Must pass telemetry exam prior to start with a strict passing score; maximum of two attempts allowed. All travelers are required to float as needed, with a local rule of 50 miles from the facility; locals not accepted.
  • Other Requirements: Inpatient RN experience in the specialty area is essential. Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in vent and transplant care. No references required for submission.
