    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – ICU (Level 3, Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Every Other Weekend Required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Utilize the nursing process to provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
    • Collect and report critical values and relevant patient data to the physician in a timely manner; assess appropriate lab and diagnostic results.
    • Document findings of physical assessments, identify abnormal findings, and develop individualized plans of care based on patient need.
    • Advocate on behalf of patients and their families while maintaining professional communication with patients, peers, and nursing management.
    • Adhere to all safety guidelines and hospital policies when performing patient interventions.
    • Float capability required to the following units: ICU/CCU, Emergency Department, and additional medical-surgical floors as assigned by management.
    Required Qualifications
    • Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
    • Current Registered Nurse licensure to practice in New York State.
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience and Emergency Department experience.
    • Current BLS provider certification from the American Heart Association.
    • Current ACLS provider certification from the American Heart Association.
    • Current PALS provider certification from the American Heart Association.
    • Current TNCC certification required.
    • NIHSS Certification required.
    • Moderate Sedation Certification required.
    • Must be available to work every other weekend.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Cardiac Catheterization experience preferred.
    • Experience floating across multiple units including CCU and Emergency Department settings.
