Collects data relevant to patient’s condition and reports critical values to the physician in a timely manner. Assesses appropriate lab and diagnostic data. Documents findings of physical assessment and identifies abnormal findings. Develops a plan of care based on patient needs. Advocates on behalf of the patient and their family. Performs interventions according to patient needs and hospital policy. Evaluates patient outcomes in relation to goals. Adheres to all safety guidelines and exercises the utmost care when interacting with patients. Demonstrates a professional demeanor in interactions with patients, families, peers, and staff. Maintains open communication with nursing management. Floats to other units as needed. Other duties as assigned by management.
