    Registered Nurse – ICU (Float Pool)

    Contract | 3x12-Hour Rotating Day/Night Shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in ICU settings as part of a float pool, rotating across TCUs, ICUs, ED, and PACU as needed
    • Float to multiple departments and facilities within the health system based on staffing needs
    • Deliver high-acuity nursing care in a teaching hospital environment
    • Complete required non-billable orientation modules prior to start and annually as assigned
    • Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health records
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California RN License (must be in hand at time of submission)
    • BSN required
    • AHA BLS certification
    • ACLS certification
    • Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
    • Teaching hospital experience required
    • 2 references from most recent employer required at time of submission
    • All prior employment with any University of California medical facility or affiliated facilities must be disclosed, including dates worked, units, and manager names for rehire eligibility review
    • All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at time of offer; no additional RTO requests will be accepted mid-contract, and RTO cannot fall within the first two weeks of the assignment
    • Local candidates are accepted and are eligible for the same rates as travel candidates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 2.5 or more years of ICU experience
    • NIHSS certification
