Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of experience. Experience in a Medical Intensive Care Unit is preferred. Candidates must meet experience requirements. Candidates will be required to manage various acute patient conditions. Skills needed include arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, and emergency medications. Knowledge in interpretation of dysrhythmias and isolation precautions is essential. Ability to perform phlebotomy and manage PICC lines is necessary. Experience in procedural sedation administration and monitoring is a plus. The patient demographic includes adults and generally has a daily census of around seven. Interdisciplinary support includes physical therapy, respiratory services, and social services.
