Job Opportunity – ICU Registered Nurse – Maryland
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Maryland
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 12-hour shifts, every other weekend required, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
Highlights:
- Fast-paced ICU environment with complex patient population including trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro cases
- Epic EMR system experience required
- Competitive 1:2 patient ratios for optimal patient care delivery
- Comprehensive 24-hour orientation program with interdisciplinary support from PT, respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and rapid response teams
- Float to IMC as needed within scope of practice
- 18-bed daily census in a 24-bed unit with advanced equipment including CRRT, IABP, and EVDs
Requirements:
- Active RN license (pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2-3 years of ICU nursing experience required
- Previous travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers not accepted
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Epic charting system experience required
- Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and advanced monitoring techniques
- Experience with critical patient populations including trauma, cardiovascular, and neurological conditions preferred
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required with no exemptions
