Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Critical Care ICU – Maryland
Start Date: October 5, 2026
Location: Maryland
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 36 guaranteed hours per week, 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, every other weekend required, may float to IMC as needed
Highlights:
- Critical care environment serving trauma, cardiovascular, stroke, and neuro patient populations
- 24-bed ICU with daily census of approximately 18 patients and comprehensive interdisciplinary support
- Epic EMR system utilized for all charting and documentation
- 24-hour orientation period with ongoing support from pharmacy, respiratory services, physical therapy, and rapid response teams
- Specialized equipment experience including CRRT, intra-aortic balloon pumps, and intraventricular drains (EVDs)
- Opportunity to work with advanced cardiac and neuro interventions in a progressive critical care setting
Requirements:
- Active RN license in Maryland (pending licenses accepted)
- Minimum 2-3 years of critical care experience required; previous travel experience required
- Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- Proficiency with Epic EMR system required
- Experience with 1:2 patient ratios in critical care settings
- Strong clinical skills including ventilator management, arterial line management, vasoactive drip titration, central line care, and blood product administration
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (no exemptions)
- Previous charge experience preferred
- Trauma Level I or II experience preferred
