Job Opportunity – Critical Care Float Pool RN – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026 (Contract must extend through January 2, 2027)

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, Night shift, Minimum every other weekend

Highlights:

• Dynamic float pool opportunity across multiple critical care units including Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, CVICU, Cardiology, and Diagnostics
• Float to units of equivalent or lower acuity based on staffing needs and patient census
• EPIC charting system utilized throughout all units
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Pharmacy, Respiratory Services, Physical Therapy, Rapid Response Teams, and Social Services
• Exposure to diverse patient populations including transplant patients (kidney, liver, lung, heart)
• Contract assignment with potential for local and travel candidates

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Proficiency with EPIC charting system required
• Competency in IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and ventilator management
• Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred
• Valid RN license (Compact or Ohio state license in hand at time of application)
• Nursing education from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
• Two professional references required (at least one from a manager, director, or formal supervisor)
• Adult patient population experience
