Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Intensive Care Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required License: Must have valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: - Proficiency with EPIC - IV Start experience - Telemetry experience - Ventilator management experience Description: Join our Critical Care Float Pool for weekend Day shifts with flexibility to meet unit needs as they arise. Nurses will float to a variety of ICUs based on staffing and patient acuity. Responsibilities include care in Neuro ICU, Surgical ICUs, Medical ICUs, Cardiology, and CVICU. Nurses are required to float within units of equivalent or lower acuity. Key skills include managing various critical care equipment and procedures. Experience with different patient populations and diagnoses is essential. Previous travel nursing experience is strongly preferred. Position involves weekend coverage with a minimum of every other weekend required. Candidates must be responsive and cooperative with credentialing processes. Reference requirements include two professional references, with at least one from a supervisory position. Education must be from an accredited nursing program. Candidates must be aware of compliance and credentialing requirements.
