Registered Nurse (RN)

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Critical Care Float Pool. This position is responsible for providing high-quality patient care in various ICU settings, including Neuro ICU, Cardiothoracic, Burn ICU, Trauma Surgery, and other critical care areas.

Schedule

  • Night shifts, 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:30)
  • Every other weekend and some holidays are required.
  • Option for 4x12 hour shifts available for interested candidates.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse in this role will provide comprehensive nursing care to patients, working collaboratively with a diverse healthcare team. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting patient assessments and developing individualized care plans.
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitoring patient conditions and vital signs.
  • Providing education and support to patients and their families.
  • Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and patient rounds.

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a compact RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required (AHA only).
  • Experience in multiple ICU units is preferred.
  • Ability to pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.
