Job Opportunity – Critical Care Registered Nurse – Wisconsin

Start Date: October 12, 2026

Location: Wisconsin

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Evening/Night shifts, 8 or 12-hour options available (1900-0730), with every other weekend and some holiday coverage required. 4x12 schedules available upon request. Block scheduling likely to accommodate preferences.

  • Epic EMR system with comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and more
  • 3:1 patient ratios for both day and night shifts in critical care settings
  • 28 hours of orientation with opportunities for professional growth in an academic learning environment
  • Engage with Shared Governance principles and work alongside a collaborative, skilled team

Requirements:

  • Active Wisconsin RN license or compact state RN license
  • Minimum 5 years of RN experience with at least 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in critical care specialty
  • Previous travel nursing experience required
  • Level 1 Trauma Center experience required
  • Competency in multiple ICU specialties (Neuro ICU, CVICU, Burn ICU, Trauma ICU, Medical ICU)
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association only)
  • Epic charting system experience required
  • Basic arrhythmia interpretation skills and ability to pass telemetry exam prior to start (strict passing criteria apply)
  • Charge experience preferred
  • Additional preferred certifications: NIHSS, TNCC
  • Clinical skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, CRRT, arterial line management, central line care, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
  • Must reside 50 miles or more from the facility
