Seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel nursing assignment in Cambridge, Massachusetts, just outside Boston. Join a respected academic medical center, support critically ill patients, and work alongside a collaborative interdisciplinary critical care team.

Job Details

• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse Assignment
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts
• Estimated Schedule: Approximately 3 shifts per week
• Duration: 13 weeks

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,470 - $2,600
• Location: Cambridge, MA 02138
• Schedule Notes: Every other weekend rotation; holiday coverage may apply
• Orientation: Weekly orientation available

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Current BLS certification through AHA
• Current ACLS certification through AHA
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record system required
• Strong background in CT surgery patient care
• Experience with advanced cardiac devices such as IABP and IMPELLA
• Ability to work night shifts and participate in weekend rotation

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond appropriately to evolving clinical needs
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the care team to support safe, effective treatment plans
• Manage patients requiring advanced cardiac and surgical critical care support
• Document accurately in EPIC to support communication, workflow, and continuity of care
• Support smooth transitions of care across ICU and IMCU-level needs when assigned
• Maintain a professional, compassionate approach in a fast-paced healthcare environment
