- Schedule Notes: Weekend rotation is every other weekend; 2 holidays required if working through winter holidays
- Work Environment: Floating between ICU and IMCU may be required
- Orientation: Weekly orientation
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license
- 2+ years of recent experience in a similar ICU setting
- CT surgery experience required
- Experience with IABP and IMPELLA devices required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- EPIC experience required
- Ability to adapt quickly in a high-acuity intensive care environment
- Must be available for rotating shifts and weekend coverage as scheduled
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and respond promptly to changes in status
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to support positive patient outcomes
- Care for patients in both ICU and IMCU settings as needed
- Support patients requiring advanced cardiac and surgical care
- Manage care for patients utilizing specialized devices and therapies
- Document care accurately in the EPIC electronic health record system
- Maintain a high standard of professionalism, safety, and teamwork throughout the assignment
