ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated ICU Registered Nurse to join our team. This position requires a commitment to providing critical care and support to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the Medical/Surgical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
  • Monitor and interpret telemetry strips.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including attendings and residents, who are present in the ICU 24/7.
  • Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed, managing up to 4 or 5 patients.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system (EPIC).

Qualifications:

  • Active Massachusetts RN License.
  • 2+ years of continuous experience in a Medical/Surgical ICU setting.
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification.
  • Telemetry competency is required.

Work Schedule:

  • 36 or 48 hours per week, with night shift availability and every other weekend required.
  • Floating to other units is a requirement of this position.
