Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience required
• Neuro ICU experience required
• Experience in high-acuity or Level 1 trauma environments preferred
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Epic experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care for critically ill neuroscience patients in a combined ICU/PCU setting
• Monitor and manage patients recovering from acute ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke
• Support care for neurointerventional radiology and neurosurgical patients
• Perform thorough assessments and respond quickly to changes in neurological status
• Collaborate closely with neurosurgeons, neurointensivists, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members
• Use evidence-based critical care nursing practices and advanced monitoring technology to optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately and maintain a high standard of safety, quality, and compliance
