    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Silverdale, WA | Acute Care / Emergency Room

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Mid Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday availability required in November and December

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department seeing approximately 170–200 patients per day across a 56-bed department (expandable to 60–70+ with hall beds)
    • Manage a patient assignment at ratios of 1:3 (higher acuity) or 1:4 (lower acuity), including ER holds within the designated 18-bed holding area
    • Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory, abdominal pain, and mental health presentations
    • Utilize Epic EMR for documentation; collaborate with ED Techs, CNAs, respiratory therapy, monitor techs, and transport staff
    • May be assigned to triage (separate 5-bed triage area) upon successful completion of a triage competency test
    • Maintain required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, TNCC, and PALS or ENPC
    • Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a larger trauma or emergency department setting
    • Proficiency with Epic EMR
    • Ability to work every other weekend and holidays in November and December as required
    • No time-off requests will be considered during the first full week of assignment
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience in a trauma-designated emergency department
    • Familiarity with triage workflows and triage-level patient assessment
    • Experience managing ER holds and inpatient-level acuity within an ED environment
    • Comfort working alongside a multidisciplinary team including ED physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, and house supervisors
