    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room

    Location

    Silverdale, WA | Acute Care / Emergency Room

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | Onsite | Every other weekend required | Holiday coverage required in November/December

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department seeing approximately 170–200 patients per day across a 56-bed department (expandable to 60–70+ with hall beds)
    • Manage patient assignments at a 1:3 ratio (1:4 for low acuity), including care of ER holds within a designated 18-bed holding area
    • Care for a diverse patient population including cardiac, stroke, sepsis, DKA, altered mental status, respiratory, abdominal pain, and mental health presentations
    • Perform or coordinate nurse/ED Tech blood draws; interpret telemetry monitor strips as needed
    • Collaborate with ED physicians, mid-level providers, charge nurses, house supervisors, ED Techs, and respiratory therapy staff
    • Document and manage patient care using Epic EMR
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Washington State RN license or valid Compact RN license
    • ACLS certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • TNCC certification required
    • PALS or ENPC certification required
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a larger trauma or emergency department setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
    • Familiarity with Epic EMR in an emergency department environment
    • Experience working in a trauma center with high daily patient volumes
    • Comfort working alongside ED Techs, respiratory therapy, and inpatient float RNs in a collaborative team model
