    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Location

    Puyallup, WA | Acute Care (Level III Trauma Center)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 12-Hour Shifts | Days/Mids (0700, 1100 start times) | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Department averaging approximately 200 patients per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage a broad range of patient presentations including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, respiratory emergencies, mental health, and high-acuity medical cases
    • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV access and management, medication administration including drips, and procedural sedation support
    • Administer blood products and cardiac medications; TNK administration experience preferred
    • Document accurately and efficiently using the Epic electronic health record system; recent Epic experience is required
    • Maintain expected patient ratios of 1:4–5, with the ability to flex based on acuity and staffing needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
    • Recent Epic EMR experience required
    • Traveler Telemetry Competency exam must be completed and passed prior to start date
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with TNK (tenecteplase) administration
    • Background in high-acuity or trauma emergency settings
    • Familiarity with Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • Experience working with a high geriatric patient population (falls, STEMI)
