    Job Title

    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (12-Hour Mids/Nights)

    Location

    Puyallup, WA | Acute Care – Level III Trauma Center

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 12-Hour Shifts | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume emergency department averaging approximately 200 patients per day, serving a patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
    • Manage high-acuity cases including trauma, STEMI, stroke, sepsis, DKA, respiratory distress, mental health, and adult psychiatric presentations
    • Perform cardiac rhythm interpretation, IV access, medication administration including drips, and procedural sedation support
    • Administer blood products and cardiac medications; TNK administration experience preferred
    • Document accurately and efficiently using the Epic electronic health record system; recent Epic experience is required
    • Complete a required Traveler Telemetry Competency exam prior to start date
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Washington
    • Minimum 2 years of emergency department (ED) experience
    • Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, and CPI/MOAB
    • Recent Epic EMR experience
    • Proficiency with Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication dispensing systems
    • First-time travelers are welcome to apply
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience with TNK administration
    • Background working in a high-acuity or trauma-level emergency department environment
    • Familiarity with central and bedside telemetry monitoring
    • Experience with geriatric populations and high-volume STEMI/stroke presentations
