Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – New York

Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 36-hour weekly guarantee, 13-week assignment

Requirements:
- Current New York State Registered Nurse license
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- BLS and ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- Previous travel nursing experience required
- MEDITECH EMR experience required
- Critical Care and charge nurse experience preferred
- IV certification, medication administration, and phlebotomy certification (completed during orientation)
- Must successfully complete lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation period
- Defibrillation certification within six months of employment
- Strong assessment skills with ability to identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
