Seven Healthcare are seeking a dedicated ED RN specializing in emergency department care for a travel assignment in Watertown, NY. The role requires professionals experienced in MEDITECH with prior travel experience.

Key Responsibilities of the ED RN- Identify and intervene in life-threatening situations
- Provide quality patient care and assess patient's clinical, teaching, mental, and spiritual needs
- Recognize safety issues and implement safe patient movement protocols
- Function well in stressful situations with creative problem-solving skills
- Exhibit strong leadership and the ability to prioritize and delegate tasks
- Assume duties as a charge nurse if required
- Maintain excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills
Requirements of the ED RN- Current NYS RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- PALS certification or obtained within 6 months of hire
- Experience with MEDITECH
- Previous travel experience
- Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
- Critical Care and charge experience preferred
- Completion of lethal dysrhythmia exam during probation
- Defibrillation certification within 6 months of employment
- IV, medication, and phlebotomy certification during orientation
