# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department – New Mexico

Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Compensation: $88/hour
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full-Time; Every other weekend required; Voluntary on-call

Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
  • Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
  • BLS Certification from American Heart Association
  • ACLS Certification from American Heart Association
  • PALS Certification from American Heart Association
  • TNCC or ATCN Certification required
  • CPI/De-Escalation Certification preferred
  • Current knowledge and skills appropriate to emergency patient populations

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
  • Develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care within established nursing standards
  • Systematically reassess patients to identify trends and implement timely interventions
  • Make clinical nursing decisions based on interpretation of patient data and outcomes
  • Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
  • Perform Point of Care testing procedures as required
  • Document all interventions and evaluations in a timely, accurate manner
  • Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in clinical practice and work habits
