# Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department – New Mexico
Start Date: September 28, 2026
Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico
Compensation: $88/hour
Schedule: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Full-Time; Every other weekend required; Voluntary on-call

Requirements:- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing program
- Current New Mexico RN license or current Compact state license
- BLS Certification from American Heart Association
- ACLS Certification from American Heart Association
- PALS Certification from American Heart Association
- TNCC or ATCN Certification required
- CPI/De-Escalation Certification preferred
- Current knowledge and skills appropriate to emergency patient populations
- Nurses with two or fewer years of experience will be hired at CN I status; higher clinical ladder levels considered based on relevant experience, national certification, and advanced degrees (BSN, MSN)
Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and establish care priorities based on patient age, symptoms, and psychosocial needs
- Develop and implement individualized, measurable plans of care within established nursing standards
- Systematically reassess patients to identify trends and implement timely interventions
- Make clinical nursing decisions based on interpretation of patient data and outcomes
- Participate in patient and family health education and discharge planning
- Perform Point of Care testing procedures as required
- Document all interventions and evaluations in a timely, accurate manner
- Demonstrate quality and effectiveness in clinical practice and work habits
