TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – North Carolina**Start Date:** September 28, 2026 **Location:** Western North Carolina **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Every other weekend required; flexible scheduling to meet department needs; no block scheduling availableHighlights:
  • 101-bed emergency department serving as a regional referral center with Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center designation
  • Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
  • High-volume emergency department with over 100,000 annual visits
  • Cerner EMR system with Baxter pumps and GE monitoring equipment
  • Float within all sections of the emergency department to gain diverse clinical experience
  • Supportive team environment with unit clerks, techs, cardiac monitoring support, and triage assistance available on all shifts
Requirements:
  • Active Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in an emergency department setting
  • Preferred: 2 years of experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume emergency department (100,000+ visits)
  • ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required prior to start date
  • ENPC certification within 90 days of hire
  • Strong teamwork mentality with ability to provide real-time coaching and feedback
  • Flexibility to work in all areas of the emergency department
