TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Asheville, North Carolina, 28801!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Western North Carolina

Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Asheville, North Carolina

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Every other weekend required; flexible scheduling to meet departmental needs; must be available to work in all sections of the Emergency Department

Highlights:

  • 101-bed high-volume Emergency Department with over 100,000 annual visits
  • Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center with regional referral status
  • Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients; up to 7:1 for behavioral health holds
  • Cerner EMR documentation system; Baxter pumps and GE monitoring equipment
  • Supportive environment with dedicated techs, unit clerks, and cardiac monitoring staff
  • Highly recognized facility including top 1% national clinical quality rankings and Magnet Designation

Requirements:

  • Active North Carolina Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in Emergency Department setting
  • Prior experience in Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED strongly preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, and NIHSS certifications required before start date
  • ENPC certification required within 90 days of hire
  • Ability to work collaboratively, provide real-time coaching and feedback, and maintain flexibility across all ED areas
