**Join Our Thriving Emergency Department Team!** **Job Description** - **Location:** Emergency Department - **Address:** 509 Biltmore Avenue - **Unit Name:** ER - **Building:** Mission Hospital - **Cost Center:** 780 **Unit Specifics:** - **Number of Beds:** 101 - **Patient Ratios:** - Typically 4:1 for medical - Up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds - **Unit Staffing Description:** - Techs available, working in cardiac monitoring unit and internal processing area - Triage and unit clerks available days and nights - **Type of Equipment:** - Baxter pumps - GE monitors - **Documentation System:** Cerner - **Scheduling Requirements:** - Every other weekend - Cannot commit to block scheduling; must meet needs of the department - **Floating Policy:** - No floating outside of the ED - Must be open to floating to all sections in the ED - **Patient Experience Requirements:** - AIDET - Respectful behavior - Provide an excellent patient experience - Boards updated with information; keep patients informed throughout their visit **Certifications Required:** - ACLS - BLS - PALS - TNCC - CPI - NIHSS - ENPC (within 90 days of hire) **Hiring Profile:** - **Requested Skill Set:** - 2 years’ experience in Level 2 trauma center - Comprehensive stroke center experience - Experience in a high-volume ED (> 100,000 visits) - Previous HCA experience preferred - **Must Have:** - 2 years’ experience as a nurse, with at least 1 year in an ER setting - Teamwork mentality - Ability to coach and give feedback in real time - Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED **Advanced Skills Needed:** - Procedures performed on unit **Dress Code:** - Required uniform: Navy scrubs **Unit Guidelines/Policies:** - Attendance policy will be provided on day 1 **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
