Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse (Oncology Pod) – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Columbus, Ohio

Schedule: Day/Night or Night shifts available; 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio; Floating within facility required

Highlights:

• Work in a specialized Oncology Pod within the Emergency Department, one of the few dedicated oncology emergency care settings in the country
• Care for cancer patients with urgent and complex needs in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
• 13-week assignment with Epic EMR system utilized throughout the facility
• Patient population includes adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and radiology
• 7 consecutive days off may be granted at facility discretion for the contract duration

Requirements:

• Active RN license (compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS
• Proficient in IV starts and telemetry monitoring
• Oncology experience strongly preferred
• Graduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required (at least 1 from manager/director or formal leadership)
