Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Ohio
Start Date: October 19, 2026
Location: Ohio

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio

- Emergency Department holding unit with diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

- First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience

Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- ER Holding and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience strongly preferred
- Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
- Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
- Two professional references required (at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
- Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
- Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience
- Accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, central line care
- Blood product administration and IV insulin protocols
- Care of ventilated patients, chest tube management
- Cardiac and vasoactive drip management and titration
- Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
- Experience with diverse patient diagnoses including CVA, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
