TravelNurseSource is working with Revolution Healthcare Services to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Columbus, Ohio, 43210!

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Ohio

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Ohio

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 36 hours per week, 4:1 patient ratio

Highlights:
  • Emergency Department holding unit with diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • 32-bed unit with daily census of 32 patients
  • Epic charting system preferred
  • Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, Rapid Response Teams, and more
  • First-time travelers welcome with a minimum of 2 years of ER experience
  • Access to extensive parking options with monthly and annual permit availability
Requirements:
  • Valid Registered Nurse license (Compact or Ohio state license required at time of submission)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • ER Holding and Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience strongly preferred
  • Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, PALS
  • Nursing degree from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program
  • Two professional references required (at least one must be from a manager, director, or formal leadership role)
  • Must complete Ohio fingerprinting process immediately upon contract signing
  • Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Preferred Skills and Experience:
  • Telemetry and cardiac monitoring experience
  • Accessing/managing ports, arterial line management, central line care
  • Blood product administration and IV insulin protocols
  • Care of ventilated patients, chest tube management
  • Cardiac and vasoactive drip management and titration
  • Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
  • Experience with diverse patient diagnoses including CVA, seizure disorders, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury
