Description

Job Opportunity – Emergency Department RN – South-Central Texas

Start Date: September 8, 2026
Location: South-Central Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 12-hour shifts (7AM-7:30PM or 7PM-7:30AM), 36 hours guaranteed per week, every other weekend required

Highlights:

  • 13-week assignment at a well-established regional medical center
  • High-acuity emergency department with diverse case mix including stroke, chest pain/heart alerts, sepsis, and behavioral health
  • Hands-on experience with conscious sedation, intubations, and advanced emergency protocols
  • Meditech documentation system
  • Float as needed per hospital policy
  • Friendly, team-oriented environment dedicated to exceptional patient care

Requirements:

  • Active Texas RN license (temporary licenses will not be accepted)
  • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC, and NIHSS
  • CEN certification preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Meditech experience preferred
