Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- Perform strong clinical and rapid patient assessments
- Recognize and respond to patient condition changes using critical thinking
- Work effectively in a fast-paced emergency department setting
- Conduct procedures such as moderate sedation, RSI, CPR, PIV/IO, splinting, EKG, and blood transfusions
- Undertake cardiac monitoring, stroke assessment, trauma assessment, resuscitation, and sepsis workups
Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department- TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, CPI certifications
- Strong clinical and rapid patient assessment skills
- Experience in level 1 or 2 Trauma Centers preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a high-volume ED is desirable
