# Job Opportunity – Emergency Department Registered Nurse – Texas

Start Date: September 11, 2026
Location: San Antonio, Texas
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: Day and Night shifts available; shift begins 15 minutes prior to scheduled start time; 30-minute meal break

Highlights:

  • High-volume Emergency Department with 48 headwalls and approximately 25 additional treatment spaces
  • Acuity-based patient ratios supporting optimal patient care delivery
  • Comprehensive trauma and emergency procedures including moderate sedation, RSI, CPR, cardiac monitoring, stroke and trauma assessments
  • Meditech EMR system with GE/Stryker/Plum 360 equipment
  • Collaborative team environment with approximately 80 staff members including Charge Nurses, Flow Navigators, Paramedics, ED Techs, and Unit Clerks
  • Two positions available for immediate placement

Requirements:

  • Active Texas RN license
  • TNCC, ENPC or PALS, ACLS, BLS, and CPI certifications required
  • Strong clinical and rapid patient assessment skills
  • Ability to recognize changes in patient condition and apply critical thinking
  • Proven ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments
  • Preferred: 2+ years experience in high-volume Emergency Department
  • Preferred: Trauma experience in Level 1 or 2 Trauma Center
