Key Responsibilities of the Travel - RN - ED

• Conduct rapid assessment (ESI Triage) and comprehensive nursing assessments
• Perform pain assessment and management
• Lead sepsis and stroke screenings and interventions
• Handle trauma level 1 & 2 activations and interventions
• Participate in MCI responses and procedural sedation
• Provide pediatric emergency care and behavioral health crisis intervention
• Monitor vital signs and perform EKG and defibrillation procedures
• Administer medications and assist with wound care, suturing, and splinting

Requirements of the Travel - RN - ED

• Minimum 1-2 years current acute care ED RN experience
• Current BLS, ALS, NIH, PALS, TNCC & ENPC certifications
• CPI Blue card
• Experience with trauma level 1 or 2 care preferred
• Prior Meditech experience is advantageous
