**Job Description:**
- **Position:** Registered Nurse (RN) - ER
- **Location:** Wilson Medical Center, Wilson, NC
- **Shift:** 7 PM to 7 AM
- **Weekly Guaranteed Hours:** 36
- **Weekend Hours:** Every other weekend
- **Call Requirements:** None
**Unit Information:**
- **Department:** Emergency Department
- **Number of Beds:** 26
- **Patient Ratios:** 1:4-5 (flexible based on acuity)
- **Equipment:** GE Monitors, standard ED equipment
- **EHR:** Meditech
- **Supervisor:** Donna Nanney
- **Patient Population:** All age groups
**Position Requirements:**
- **Certifications:**
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
- **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in Emergency Department
**Essential Skills & Personality Fit:**

- Proven ED experience
- **Common Diagnoses/Treatments:**
- Respiratory Distress
- Overdose
- Congestive Heart Failure (CHF)
- Dialysis
- Hypertension (HTN)

- Engaging communication and teamwork
- Positive attitude and proactive approach
**Education:**
- **Required:** Associate's Degree in Nursing
