Travel RN – Emergency Room (48 GWW | Level I Trauma)

CRITICAL Schedule, Experience & Licensing Filters

• 48-Hour Guarantee & Rotating Shifts: This contract requires 48 hours per week on a strict Day/Evening/Night (D/E/N) rotating schedule. Candidates must be prepared for a grueling pace and a high level of adaptability.
• Strict NY License Rule: New York is not a Compact state, and this facility requires an active NY RN license in hand at the time of submission.
• No First-Time Travelers: The facility explicitly will not support first-time travelers. Previous ER travel experience is strictly required.
• AHA Certifications ONLY: The facility will only accept American Heart Association (AHA) BLS and ACLS. No Red Cross or military equivalents.

Contract Details

• Location: Rochester, NY
• Guaranteed Hours: 48 Hours/Week
• Shift: D/E/N Rotating Shifts
• Expectations: Floating, weekends, holidays, on-call, callback, and charge duties as dictated by unit needs.

Unit Scope & Clinical Skillset

• Facility Scale: The only Level I Trauma Center in the area, managing a massive volume of over 100,000 visits annually.
• Patient Population: Fast-paced Adult ED treating a highly diverse patient population.
• Workflow: Travelers must be highly proficient with Telemetry and will be expected to assist with managing ED boarder patients holding for inpatient beds.

Requirements & Certifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Adult ER experience + mandatory Telemetry experience.
• Licensure: Active New York (NY) RN license.
• Required Certifications:
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • NIHSS (Stroke Certification)
