This is a 16-week contract position.

Schedule

Nights - 12hr shifts: 3P-3A / 7P-7A rotation. 36 hours per week with a weekend requirement of one weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Must work at least one holiday per contract.

Job Description

The Registered Nurse will work in a large, high-acuity Emergency Department featuring 80 treatment spaces. This modern environment emphasizes high-quality patient care with a collaborative team, experienced leadership, and a focus on specialized geriatric emergency care, as this is the area's first ACEP accredited geriatric ED.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients.
• Collaborate with a supportive team in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain and document patient care using EPIC charting.
• Participate in required weekend and holiday shifts as per contract.
• Engage in on-call shifts to provide additional support as needed.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of recent Registered Nurse experience required.
• 2 years of U.S. work history is required for non-U.S. candidates.
• Active New York RN license is required.
• Current NIH and AHA BLS certification are mandatory.
