Job Summary:
Emergency Room (ER) Nurse position available at a healthcare facility located in an urban setting. This role involves providing high-quality emergency nursing care across a diverse patient demographic, including newborns, pediatrics, adults, and geriatric patients. The ER nurse will work a rotating shift schedule, contributing to a fast-paced, dynamic environment requiring adaptability and clinical expertise.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: 8:30 AM to 9:00 PM, rotating schedule, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid NY State RN license, active NY license, and all RN licenses; current AHA Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certifications; Minimum of 2 years of experience in Emergency Department with some Pediatric experience; up-to-date resume documenting travel experience; Drivers licenses with address matching demographics; EMR experience with EPIC; NURSYS report verification required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Charge nurse experience highly preferred.
  • Float: Float rotation may be required.
  • Scrub Color: Navy Blue.
  • Unit Specifics: Common patient diagnoses include stroke, sepsis, trauma, myocardial infarction, cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Specialty equipment used includes Rapid Infusor and Arctic Sun.
  • Submission Requirements: Up-to-date resume, documentation of travel experience, matching license verification, and current certifications must be submitted.
