Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Emergency Department team. This position requires the ability to provide exceptional care to both adult and pediatric populations in a fast-paced and challenging environment.

Schedule

  • Available shifts: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30) or Mid 3x12-Hour (15:00 - 03:30)
  • Weekend and holiday rotation required

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
  • Monitor and assess patient conditions, providing stability and comfort.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to formulate and implement patient care plans.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation using Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two years of Emergency Department experience within the last three years.
  • Experience working with both adult and pediatric populations.
  • Proficient in using Epic EHR system.
  • Current Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license is required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications - AHA only.
  • Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification is required.

Additional Requirements

Applicants must successfully complete a telemetry test prior to being cleared to start in this position.
