Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting. The ideal candidate will have strong assessment skills, the ability to respond quickly in critical situations, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care to both adult and pediatric populations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess and triage patients presenting with various medical emergencies.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as directed by physicians.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Monitor vital signs and patient conditions, adjusting care plans as needed.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding treatment plans and procedures.
  • Document all patient care activities accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of Emergency Department experience with adult and pediatric populations within the last three years.
  • Valid Wisconsin RN or Compact RN license.
  • Current certification in BLS, PALS, and ACLS through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • TNCC certification required.
  • Experience with Epic EMR system required.
  • Must pass a telemetry test prior to starting the position.

Work Schedule

This position involves 12-hour night shifts from 19:00 to 07:30, including weekends and holidays.
