Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic Emergency Medicine team. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts, including weekends and holidays, to provide high-quality care to patients in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver rapid and effective emergency care to adult and pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient assessments and treatments.
  • Utilize Epic electronic health record system effectively for patient documentation.
  • Implement care plans based on evidence-based practices and patient needs.
  • Administer medications and perform treatments as prescribed.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress and respond to changes in condition.

Qualifications

  • Two (2) years of Emergency Department experience within the last three years, working with both adult and pediatric populations.
  • Active Wisconsin RN license or Compact RN license.
  • BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications through AHA are required.
  • TNCC certification is required.
  • Must successfully pass a Telemetry test prior to starting.
