Registered Nurse (RN)

The Registered Nurse is accountable for interpreting the medical care plan, assessing patients' clinical decision-making regarding nursing care, ensuring that nursing care is delivered competently and safely, providing personalized nursing care, and evaluating nursing care across patient groups.

Essential Functions

  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports and records.
  • Administer medications to patients and monitor them for reactions or side effects.
  • Record patients' medical information and vital signs.
  • Monitor, document, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
  • Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
  • Modify patient treatment plans based on patients' responses and conditions.

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
  • 0-1 year of clinical nursing experience required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Familiarity with practical nursing principles and skills to provide effective patient care and treatment.
  • Knowledge of care requirements for various age groups.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent verbal and communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients.
