Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent medical-surgical telemetry nursing experience required
• Active New Jersey RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
• Current ACLS certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Current NIH certification required
• Ability to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, and float as needed
• Flu vaccination required

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing care to patients in ED Holds and related float pool assignments
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status accurately and efficiently
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to provider orders and clinical standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support safe, high-quality patient care
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns appropriately
• Support patient throughput and continuity of care across assigned units
• Maintain accurate documentation within the Cerner electronic medical record system
• Adhere to facility protocols, infection prevention standards, and patient safety practices
