• Schedule Highlights: No floating, no on-call, and up to 7 days of requested time off may be approved
• Technology: EPIC experience required

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• At least 2 years of emergency department nursing experience
• Experience providing high-acuity ED patient care
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI or MOAB, and NIHSS
• Strong experience with EPIC electronic medical record systems
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, trauma-informed emergency department setting
• Must be able to support adult, geriatric, psychiatric, respiratory, stroke, abdominal pain, chest pain, and pediatric patients

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care to patients in a busy emergency room
• Assess, triage, and prioritize patients with a wide range of emergency conditions
• Administer medications and perform critical nursing interventions as needed
• Support trauma, stroke, sedation, chest tube, and central line-related care
• Collaborate closely with providers, charge nurses, technicians, respiratory therapy, and other support staff
• Maintain accurate documentation and workflow in EPIC
• Work effectively in a pod-based care model while maintaining strong patient ratios
• Contribute to a positive team culture focused on excellent patient experience
