Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Room (ER)

Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Room team. This position involves providing high-quality care to a diverse patient population, including individuals experiencing medical emergencies, sepsis, cancer, and behavioral health issues.

Shift Details

  • Schedule: Night Shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
  • Occasional shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:00 AM may be required.
  • Up to every other weekend and holiday coverage may be needed.

Core Responsibilities

  • Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting.
  • Assess and monitor patient conditions, documenting all necessary data accurately.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families.
  • Manage a variety of special care populations with diverse needs.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience required.
  • First-time travelers are welcome to apply.
  • Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Stroke Scale, and PALS.
  • Experience with EPIC electronic health record system is mandatory.
  • Experience in STEMI and stroke care settings is required.

This position involves working with patients of all ages and participating in specialized care for individuals with conditions such as cancer, sepsis, medical emergencies, and behavioral health challenges.
